EYES ONLY
Easy to blend for an undetectable
finish, liquid or creamy formulas
are ideal for around the eyes.
They can camouflage mild
discolouration elsewhere, too, but
need a layer of powder to last.
STICK UP
“Stick concealers generally give the
most coverage,” says Dilio. “Similar
to stick foundation, they’re often
emollient enough to blend under
eyes without caking up. If you use
one of those to cover blemishes,
though, set it with powder.”

HIDING SPOT
For spot-concealing, a slightly dry
consistency is best, applied with
a fine-tip brush. “The concealer
needs to match your skintone
exactly to make the blemish
disappear,” says Dilio, whose
clients include India Hicks.

EVERYWHERE
Creamy, high-pigment, self-setting
concealers work everywhere. To
determine whether a formula is self-
setting, Dilio says to try it on your
hand, give it a couple of moments,
then try to move it with your
fingertip. “If it resists, bingo.”
